Sheryl Underwood, a American television personality and comedian, is best known as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas, was raised among Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with her own illness called Polio. As a teenager, she experienced difficulties with her mother. Sheryl claims that in the past, her mother would stab her father due to him being too close with her. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from her college. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She launched her TV job in the year 1992, having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! In 2011, she's a cohost of the Talk Show. Also, she appears in fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
